The YARDS welcomes first customer Techtronic Industries

02 April 2024

The first building to be completed at The YARDS, our joint venture Premium Estate by Frasers Property Industrial and Aware Real Estate, is Techtronic Industries’ 74,056 sqm distribution facility.

Built-to-suit for Techtronic Industries by our builder Hansen Yuncken, the building includes a goods-to-person automated mini-shuttle system, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) racking storage and drive-around truck access, a high-end 1,028sqm office space and landscaped outdoor breakout areas. The facility also has a 1,028sqm battery charge room and 3,625 sqm awnings and parking for up to 280 cars.

Sustainability has been prioritised and is reflected in vertical green walls, energy-efficient sensor lighting, water-saving tapware, and a substantial 500kW rooftop solar installation. This facility is targeting a 6 Star Green Star Design and As-built v1.3 rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.

We are very proud to welcome TTI to The YARDS.
